Crystal Palace have contested claims produced by Gemma Bryan after falling prey to a serious knee injury that the group not encouraged her.
Bryan hasn’t played since suffering an anterior cruciate ligament tear in April and took to social media to explain her existing situation.
The 32-year-old, who has scored more than 100 goals for the south London club said she’s received”zero communicating” from Crystal Palace Women and was forced to await surgery throughout the NHS.
Bryan said she is”devastated” that the other participant at the club has received club backing and support after suffering from exactly the identical harm but Crystal Palace Women say her assertions are incorrect.
“Gemma’s assert another participant with a similar injury has obtained different levels of treatment and support is factually wrong,” a Crystal Palace ladies’s statement .
“Gemma remained fully paid, beyond the conditions of her agreement, until the close of the season when her registration obviously expired.
“She has been also offered on-going continued accessibility to rehabilitation support past the conclusion of last season.”
