Miami has Danny Granger veterans Luol Deng and Josh McRoberts –three offseason additions president Pat Riley would have preferred as James’ sidekicks, not replacements.
Chris Bosh will be a part of the offense now, and he’ll do his best to reprise the role of 20-10 dynamo he performed with the Toronto Raptors. And Dwyane Wade will step back in the spotlight, trusting his body holds up under the stress of increased responsibility.
It seems like the Heat have sufficient talent to stay around as a playoff team. However, if Wade misses another 28 matches esophageal his knees, those postseason fantasies could evaporate.
