Jonny Bairstow says that he willreturn much stronger after being left out of the England squad for the Test series in New Zealand in November.
The wicketkeeper, 30, was dropped after averaging just 20.25 this season.
Asked if he wasperformed with Test cricket, Bairstow told BBC Sport:Absolutely not.
I love my Test cricket. Naturally Its not the very first time. Hopefully it will be the past.
He added:Weve been touring non-stop for five, six or seven decades. This gives me the opportunity to go away, train hard and work in my game.
Bairstow has played 69 Tests, 48 of which have been as the designated wicketkeeper.
If he kept wicket, together with the batsman on the tour of Sri Lanka five of his six decades have come.
Together with Jos Buttler set to take the gloves to both Tests in New Zealand starting on 20 November, Bairstow said he is going to be happy to come back to the side in whatever role he is asked to fill.
I just need to get back in the team, no matter how it is, he explained. Whatever spot becomes available, it will not be the first time if its merely like a batter.
National selector Ed Smith said Bairstow will return abetter player after the squad was announced a month.
Bairstow was appointed from the Twenty20 squad for its series that starts on 1 November.
