Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has shown that he is currently finding it tough to contemplate the concept of not sitting on the bench after his death in the Emirates Stadium last year.
The Frenchman left North London at 2018 later winning seven FA Cups and three Premier League titles during almost 22 years in the club.
The Gunners manager has said he want to come back within soccer, but perhaps not as a manager to a role.
Wenger has been connected with coaching and management jobs across Europe since departing the Premier League side above a year ago.
“I can’t live with the fact that I’ll not be on the seat again,” he told beIN Sports.
“I would opt for an intermediate position. I would like to experience an additional time the intensity of a competition.”
The 69-year-old also conceded that it has been hard adjusting to life after departing Arsenal, where he mimicked 1216 matches.
“I never believed I could live without Arsenal, being pumped with the golf club,” he said.
“I needed to choose a space by being optimistic.
“Occasionally you could develop into somewhat bitter because you don’t have exactly the exact identical excitement anymore and I am quite happy to have survived that in a very favorable way.
“I’m delighted to have disconnected and being seen like a baby who has evolved in the space .”
