Crystal Palace have contested claims made by Gemma Bryan after falling prey to a severe knee injury that the team not supported her.
Bryan took to media on Friday to describe her current situation and has not played since suffering an anterior cruciate ligament tear in April.
The 32-year-old, that has scored over 100 goals for the south London club said she has received”zero communicating” from Crystal Palace Women and was forced to await operation throughout the NHS.
Bryan said she’s”devastated” that the other participant in the club has obtained club support and backing after suffering from exactly the same harm but Crystal Palace Ladies say her assertions are inaccurate.
“Gemma’s assert another participant with an identical injury has received different levels of support and treatment is factually incorrect,” a Crystal Palace ladies’s statement .
“Gemma remained totally compensated, outside the conditions of her agreement, until the end of the season when her registration expired.
“She was also provided on-going continued accessibility to rehabilitation support past the end of last season.”
