Erin Bell, the former Aussie Diamond, will join Manchester Thunder for the British Fast5 Netball All-Stars Championship in October.
The contest, which will be live on Sky Sports on October 12, is renowned for attracting in high-profile players along with the announcement of Bell’s arrival sets the tone for this season’s championship.
The older shooter won ANZ Championships with NSW Swifts and Adelaide Thunderbirds, and performed Collingwood Magpies.
She’s no stranger to Fast5 netball having directed the national side and she’ll be a part of some 10-strong Thunder squad which will competition at the Copper Box Arena for the British Fast5 Netball All-Stars Championship name.
“Erin is among those netballers any coach would like to use – passionate, experienced and also a proven winner”, said Karen Greig, Manchester Thunder’s director of netball.
“She describes All-Star so I am delighted to have signed her to this year’s Fast5 tournament in the Burger Box. I can’t wait to see her court at the yellow and black .”
The championship features an all-star five-point line 12-minute games and a Golden Buzzer Power Play , the championship is an day of netball.
Wasps Netball will soon probably be looking to defend their crown at the Box Arena and enthusiasts will eagerly awaiting All-Star signings within the forthcoming weeks.
Sky Sports is the house of netball and it returns to your displays whenever they see South Africa in November, although the Roses return to action under new coach Jess Thirlby, starting with all the British Championships on Saturday October 12.
